Lloyd's List newspaper re-design

Here’s a sneaky peek (a proper write up / images when we get a chance) at the re-design of Lloyd’s List newspaper that went live on Monday.

Lloyd’s List is a daily newspaper (Berliner format) published by Informa for the maritime industry. Our role over 8 months or so was to completely re-design it from the ground up, including; masthead, typography, grid, layout & hierarchy. Needless to say it’s been a long project but the results look really good and we’re very proud (and pleased) of how the internal team at Lloyd’s List have applied and rolled-out the designs and templates we designed for them.

Here’s a more detailed look at the redesigned Lloyd’s List newspaper

Lloyd’s List

We’ve just sent off the artwork files for the first ‘press test’ (on the Guardian’s presses) of the new design of the Lloyd’s List newspaper – we’re looking to check colour, legibility, sizing, etc… before moving to the next stage of developing the paper. It’ll be exciting later this week to see a physical rough draft (in effect a wet proof) of the paper after months of work on the paper.
