Lloyd’s List Newspaper re-design

Lloyd's List newspaper re-design

Here’s a sneaky peek (a proper write up / images when we get a chance) at the re-design of Lloyd’s List newspaper that went live on Monday.

Lloyd’s List is a daily newspaper (Berliner format) published by Informa for the maritime industry. Our role over 8 months or so was to completely re-design it from the ground up, including; masthead, typography, grid, layout & hierarchy. Needless to say it’s been a long project but the results look really good and we’re very proud (and pleased) of how the internal team at Lloyd’s List have applied and rolled-out the designs and templates we designed for them.

** UPDATE**

Here’s a more detailed look at the redesigned Lloyd’s List newspaper

Lloyd’s List

We’ve just sent off the artwork files for the first ‘press test’ (on the Guardian’s presses) of the new design of the Lloyd’s List newspaper – we’re looking to check colour, legibility, sizing, etc… before moving to the next stage of developing the paper. It’ll be exciting later this week to see a physical rough draft (in effect a wet proof) of the paper after months of work on the paper.

Industry Outlook 2010

Front cover of the Industry Outlook 2010 report

Just got our copies of the Informa Industry Outlook 2010 report back from the printers and it looks great. Designed and printed in super-quick-time it took many a late night both from us and from Neil Cooper over at Informa to get it off to press in time to meet the deadline for their event at the Imax in London.

A mere 176 pages(!), perfect bound with a matt laminated cover and 10mm thick it certainly has a weighty feel that its content warrants. The design is an evolution of last years’ report, developing the layout to accommodate the increased content.

If you’d like a copy, it’s available on Informa’s website to buy as either a hard copy or as a PDF. And last year’s is still available as a PDF here.

Or take a closer look at it in our portfolio.
